Dusted this photograph off from my pre-photoshop work, but I wanted to compare the interest in children's handwriting. If anyone wants to immortalize their children's writing.....send it to me and I will incorporate it into a new painting. Email me: audreysb@yahoo.com

Text has always been fascinating to me, especially when children write it. I will never understand why penmanship is graded in elementary school. Saskia (my 10 year old) wrote this out for me; I scanned it in and painted over it with white paint. She added the words "have not evil".

No time to blog...gotta finish painting.

This painting is one of my earlier pieces, finished in 2008. I am not sure what language the words were from, but I wanted it to be somewhat illegible as to make it more dreamlike.

This is a photo/painting of Zoe, my friend's daughter..... I do have real nails in the mirror.
